Drawing on years of expertise in home design, Madam Susan Koay has crafted house designs tailored to modern lifestyles, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability to create a residential community that aligns with eco-friendly living.

Eadepro has introduced the Klemeru housing development, themed “Sustainability Begins from Home,” to promote environmental consciousness and sustainable living. Each home in this development is equipped with advanced features like solar panels and electric vehicle (EV) charging isolators.

Madam Susan Koay, Chief Operating Officer of Eadepro, emphasized that Klemeru homes are aligned with the current trend of energy savings and carbon reduction. By installing solar panels in every unit, these homes can reduce electricity costs by up to 80% per month, helping to keep interiors cooler and contribute to environmental conservation.

She noted that, based on current market rates, installing solar panels in a typical home would cost at least RM30,000, along with professional assessments to confirm roof suitability. The Klemeru housing plan eliminates these concerns, allowing residents to benefit from solar energy immediately upon moving in.

Additionally, the homes will include an EV charging isolator, anticipating the increasing popularity of electric vehicles as fuel prices rise. She believes this feature will soon become essential for residents.

The community also encourages waste reduction through recycling bins, promoting a “3R” approach (Reuse, Recycle, Reduce) to minimize improper waste disposal.

The development concept behind “Klemeru” is “Sustainability Begins from Home,” aiming to introduce sustainable practices within the home that gradually extend to the community, fostering a shared commitment to preserving resources.

“Klemeru 2” Offers Enhanced Comfort and Convenience

The name “Klemeru” reflects its strategic location between Klebang and Meru, providing easy access to major routes, and catering to the convenience of local workers with direct roads to nearby industrial areas.

Madam Susan Koay explained that the project spans 115 acres, split into southern and northern areas. The southern section is currently being developed, including a 4.5-acre multifunctional park featuring sports fields, a children’s playground, adventure park, jogging tracks, and bike paths. The first phase, comprising 187 single-story units, has sold out. The second phase, now launched, includes 96 double-story terrace homes, each 22×75 feet, with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, high ceilings, ample parking, and storage spaces designed for practical living. Thanks to smooth progress, construction is likely to finish ahead of the two-year estimate.

The homes in Klemeru 2 come in four layout options: intermediate, end lot, end lot with extra land, and corner lot, catering to diverse buyer preferences.

Madam Susan Koay highlighted that “Klemeru 2” aims to create an ideal living environment with thoughtful design details, such as generous parking spaces with extra room for greenery or relaxation areas.

She added that the homes include two storage spaces, helping residents maintain an organized living environment. These small yet meaningful details enhance the overall quality of life.

Additionally, the homes feature an indoor waste bin area to prevent litter spillage, animal disturbances, and odors. Madam Susan Koay also mentioned that, since last August, a new road connecting Klebang and Meru has reduced travel time between the two areas from 30 minutes to just 5 minutes, providing great convenience to residents.
