From 5 to 8 February 2026, PALO 101, Ipoh came alive with festive colours, joyful celebrations, and vibrant community spirit during our Chinese New Year Carnival 2026. Over four exciting evenings, visitors gathered to celebrate the season with family and friends in a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

The carnival featured a 4-day indoor and outdoor bazaar, offering festive merchandise, food and beverages, lifestyle products, and unique finds. Guests also enjoyed a wide range of stage performances, including live band performances, dance showcases, lion dance, Chinese orchestra, magic shows, open mic sessions, and the mesmerising Face-Changing (Bian Lian) performance, showcasing the beauty of traditional Chinese arts.

One of the key highlights took place on 8 February 2026 with the official press conference and special appearance of the cast and director of the upcoming Chinese New Year comedy Mama, Not Again! 妈妈又要嫁！. The press conference was graced by YB Loh, YB Angeline Koo, and Ms Susan, marking a meaningful moment for the event. The movie promotion session brought excitement and laughter to the crowd, giving fans the opportunity to meet Joel Chan 陈山聪, Bob Lam 林盛斌, Oscar Leung 梁竞徽（唯唯）, and Director Teddie Chin 陈立谦 ahead of the film’s cinema release on 17 February 2026.

The celebration reached its grand finale with a spectacular firecracker and fireworks display, lighting up the night sky and marking a memorable end to the carnival.
